NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Volunteer Fire Company of Center Brunswick, Inc.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing pursuant to Section 147(f) of the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) will be conducted by the Volunteer Fire
Company of Center Brunswick, Inc. (the “Volunteer Fire Company”) at the fire station of the
Volunteer Fire Company, located at 1045 Hoosick Road, Troy, New York on May 2, 2023 at
6:30 p.m. (local time) in connection with the proposed purchase by the Volunteer Fire Company,
a New York not-for-profit corporation, of a certain Marion Star Custom Rescue Truck (the “Fire
Truck”), and the proposed issuance from time to time by the Volunteer Fire Company of bonds
or notes or both (collectively, the “Obligations”) to finance all or a portion of such purchase. The
purchase price of the Fire Truck will not exceed $777,669 and the princcipal amount of
Obligations issued by the Volunteer Fire Company to finance the purchase of the Fire Truck will
not exceed $777,669. The Fire Truck is to be owned and used by the Volunteer Fire Company
for the provision of fire protection service to the Center Brunswick Fire Protection District,
which is located in the Town of Brunswick, New York. The Volunteer Fire Company provides
fire protection services to the Fire Protection District pursuant to a contract between the
Volunteer Fire Company and the Town of Brunswick, New York. The Fire Truck is to be
garaged at the fire station referenced above. The public hearing and the subsequent approvals (if
given) by the Town Board of the Town of Brunswick of the borrowing and issuance of the
Obligations are prerequisites to exemption from federal and state income taxation of the interest
payable under the terms of such Obligations, pursuant to Section 103 and related sections of, and
regulations under, the Code. The Obligations will not be a debt or obligation of the Town of
Brunswick, New York and the Town of Brunswick, New York will not be liable on such
Obligations. Persons attending the public hearing will be given the opportunity to make oral
statements in connection with the proposed financing, and written comments may be submitted
to the hearing officer at or prior to the public hearing. The mailing address is: Volunteer Fire

report of comments received at or prior to the public hearing will be provided to the Town Board
of the Town of Brunswick, New York.
